The public program of the Balanz Collection designs a variety of activities that engage with the body of work as a heritage of ideas. With the aim of creating opportunities for encounter, dialogue, and enjoyment of the collection, an open program of visits is carried out. It offers guided tours for the general public, study groups, and institutions that wish to discover the collection across all its offices and exhibition spaces.
The Balanz Collection maintains three dedicated exhibition spaces: one located at the Balanz Nordelta offices and two in Microcentro—one in the basement dedicated to the permanent display of the collection's artworks, and the Nazaré Room, devoted to temporary exhibitions that engage in dialogue with the contemporary local scene.
Nazaré Room This new space, inaugurated in 2026 and situated on the ground floor of the Lipsia Building, is dedicated to an annual program of temporary exhibitions that aim to deepen the dialogue between the collection and contemporary art. Nazaré was conceived as a space for circulation and encounter: a platform to foster conversations between emerging and established artists, between local and international scenes, and to enhance public access to the collection.
Basement Located in the basement of the Lipsia Building, this is the first space specifically designed by the collection to accommodate large-scale works and to house a permanent exhibition of pieces from the holdings. It is also envisioned as a hybrid contemplation room where events, talks, and collaborations with artists take place, and it includes an on-site restoration workshop.
Nordelta Situated in the reception area of the Nordelta offices, this expansive space permanently displays large-format works that enter into dialogue with the workspaces and the natural surroundings of Tigre.
