About the exhibition:
The Kirchner Cultural Center presents in its sixth- and seventh-floor galleries “Symbiology – Artistic Practices on a Planet in Emergency,” an exhibition that brings together more than 170 works of contemporary Argentine art exploring new connections and symbioses between the human and the non-human.

We invite you to visit the exhibition’s website for more information: https://simbiologia.cck.gob.ar

In the piece The Intermediate Creature, Claudia Fontes constructs sculptures the size of her hand to remedy a contemporary ailment: the preeminence of the visual dimension over the tactile. It is within this visual hegemony that many of the problems of the world as we know it reside.

The exhibition can be visited from October 6, 2021 to June 26, 2022.
The CCK is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
