NICOLA COSTANTINO AND VICENTE GRONDONA at Centro Cultural Recoleta

Balanz Loans

On Thursday, April 18, the exhibition How Much Does Love Weigh? curated by Daniel Fischer opened at Centro Cultural Recoleta.

We are pleased to announce the loan of two works from the Collection for display in the exhibition:

  • Nicola Costantino, Madonna, 2007 (cover photo)

  • Vicente Grondona, Untitled, 2012

In the words of the curator:
"According to Nietzsche, love makes us human, too human. It is one of the most complex and multifaceted concepts that exist; it represents a force that transforms our lives and can lead us to ecstasy or ultimate desolation. Today, in these rooms, with the courage and power to capture the ineffable, the unattainable, or 'like a luminous ray that splits our bones,' in the words of Julio Cortázar, the works in this exhibition deconstruct, dismantle, and establish new rhetorical figures in pursuit of love."

The exhibition will be on view until September 2024.

We invite you to visit the Recoleta website for further information: How Much Does Love Weigh? at CCR.
