Nicola Costantino and Renata Juncadella at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Buenos Aires (MACBA)

Institutional Loans

On this occasion, we are pleased to announce the Collection’s participation in the exhibition “Continente Oscuro”, inaugurated on March 20, 2026, at MACBA, curated by Leandro Martínez Depietri.

Within this context, the following works have been loaned:

  • El deseo o El instinto (2024), by Renata Juncadella
  • Crónicas de la mujer menguante. Alfiletero (2015), by Nicola Costantino
  • Lágrimas de cristal, según Man Ray (2006), by Nicola Costantino

The exhibition brings together more than 85 works by women artists and dissident voices in Argentina, articulating a series of practices that revisit and reconfigure strategies associated with Surrealism. From this perspective, the project seeks to challenge notions of authority, desire, corporeality, and the construction of the collective.

Rather than offering a chronological reading or focusing on canonical figures, Continente Oscuro shifts attention toward areas historically marginalized by dominant narratives, opening a field of exploration around the unconscious, the domestic sphere, violence, and myth-making.

The exhibition can be visited from March 20 to August 2, 2026, at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Buenos Aires: Av. San Juan 328, CABA.
Museum hours: daily from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

We invite you to visit the museum’s website for more information about the exhibition: “Continente Oscuro.”
