Biography
Las vegas, USA, 1983

Austin Lee freely transcends the boundaries of art to create his own artistic universe through various media and techniques. Born in Las Vegas, United States, he lives and works in New York, and boasts an impressive resume with exhibitions at spaces like KaiKaiKiKi, the gallery of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, among others. Lee, whose impact on the art scene has been significant in recent times, considers himself to work within a new genre that combines classical painting with digital technology.

His work spans paintings, sculptures, and video pieces, where he merges digital technology to bring his imagination to life. Starting from 3D sketches meticulously translated from screen to painted canvas or sculpted form, his work is deeply respectful of the canons of Renaissance painting while embodying the interconnected digital landscape that enhances our contemporary reality. The dystopian accent of his images is also marked by the use of characters that could only belong to the world of cartoons.

The trajectory of his work is an intense exposition of his emotional changes, in a time that oscillates between intense anguish to the tension of a fairy tale marked by mysticism.
